No portfolio limit on New Street Mortgages applications

There is no longer a limit on the number of properties a landlord owns when applying to New Street Mortgages. Subject to a maximum exposure with New Street of £2m per client.

As part of the Kensington Mortgage group New Street hope to start lending in Scotland shortly (see earlier post) – currently lending on properties in England and Wales.

Buy to Let Mortgages in Scotland from Kensington Mortgages

  • KENSINGTON MORTGAGES announce they plan to extend their range of mortgage products to properties in Scotland, initially through chosen distribution partners from 25th January 2018 and extending to all brokers in March 2018. On Buy to Let mortgages Kensington have no limit on the number of properties an applicant can hold, although there is a maximum of £2m or 6 properties mortgaged to Kensington.
